Freedom Sounds Festival | 22./23. April 2022

Zum 8. Mal schon hat das Freedom Sounds Festival nicht nur die Künstler aus den Bereichen Ska, Reggae und Rocksteady nach Köln eingeladen - allen voran die jamaikanischen Legenden Horace Andy (u.a. Sänger von Massive Attack), The Skatalites, Keith & Tex und Rudy Mills (zum ersten Mal überhaupt in Deutschland!). Es präsentiert darüber hinaus zahlreiche Artists wie The Skints, Dreadzone, Alexis Evans oder Jeb Loy Nichols, die musikalische Grenzen überschreiten, zum Beispiel in Richtung Soul, Pop, Punk oder gar Country.

The 8th edition of Freedom Sounds Festival features some of the biggest ska, rocksteady and early reggae artists with Jamaican legends Horace Andy (Massive Attack vocalist), The Skatalites, Keith & Tex and Rudy Mills (first show in Germany!) leading the way. In addition to that, many artists will be featured who cross and fuse genres such as The Skints, Dreadzone, Alexis Evans or Jeb Loy Nichols.
